Impec Group wasn't aware of the problem they had. We saw the problem and provided a solution.

Diane, a consultant at Impec Group, was working on a 40,000 sq foot build for a medical clinic in Palo Alto.  The client wanted the patients’ information to be both centrally located and streamed to an AV display within each of the rooms. Because we could not clearly see a solution that met the clients specifications, we turned down the project.

However we continued to help Diane and other consultants work through a number of complex design questions with the project. She also asked us to review a number of vague proposals from other AV companies for the project. We discovered that those companies were struggling with the same dilemma we had.

As we researched the issue more thoroughly, we soon learned that the client’s requested system wasn’t approved by HIPA and that the other proposals not only failed to meet HIPA regulations, but were also incredibly overpriced.

The CEO, Luisa Buada, asked us to reconsider the project.

Our in-depth understanding of the requirements and regulations allowed us to design a solution that met HIPA standards while filling the client’s vision. It was easy to use yet secured the patients’ privacy.

The design consisted of mini PCs installed behind each TV monitors, connected through a secured network that required employees to log on to the network to access patients information. The solution was significantly lower than all other bids.

As a result of our work, Diane, the Impec Group, and Luisa, the CEO of the medical clinic, continue to reach out and use us for advice and guidance on a number of current projects today.
